Almost two years in the making, we were thrilled to finally welcome Aladdin to the label with his first offering on wax and our first solo effort, Boilermaker EP. The A-side opens up with "Say," a sample-house masterclass bridging seldom connected worlds. And in the A2 slot is "Victims of a System," a pummeling dancefloor heater full of oversized kick drums and irresistible vocal chops.
The B-side doesn’t mess about either, kicking off with the feel-good cut "Whenever You Feel Down and Out," combining equal measures bass-churning ecstasy and melodic bliss. And closing out the EP is label favorite Ricky Razu, flipping "Victims" into a mellowed-out remix steeped in signature late-night, hand-clapping goodness.
